Meet Dr. Hellen McHugh
DMD, MS, DScD
For the past five years, Dr. Hellen McHugh has provided advanced orthodontic care and thriving orthodontic offices in Pennsylvania and the New Jersey area, helping her patients get confident smiles.
Education & Experience
After Dr. McHugh completed a graduate program in biomaterials and biomimetics from New York University, she attended dental school and received advanced training and education in orthodontics at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, one of the few Ivy League dental schools in the country.
After graduation, Dr. McHugh worked as a clinical faculty member and co-clinical director at the University of Pennsylvania's orthodontic department, training future dentists and orthodontists.

Outside of the Office
In her spare time, Dr. McHugh enjoys yoga, cultural dancing, nature walks, hiking, camping, gardening, kayaking, birdwatching, and wildlife spotting. In high school, she played soccer as both a midfielder and goalkeeper, helping her team win the prestigious São Paulo city championship.
